WTF are the Sunday Scaries and who the hell has time to get them??
DUDE. BRO. DUDE BRO. I have been running NONSTOP since I got up!! I really need to install some emojis on here, where’s that little red bloke with a bead of sweat and his tongue hanging out… This is the first time I’ve sat down and had a minute to chill all day. And it’s almost 8pm. Sunday Scaries? Bitch, Sunday is OVER already!! Seriously though, what the hell is that? I’ve heard the term and I’m assuming it means like, a looming dread that some people feel all day on Sunday because they know they have to go back to a job they hate on Monday. Or maybe like, stress to run around and do all the errands they can’t do during the week and then they get anxious because they really just wanna chill on Sunday. I have no idea, but I feel super grateful and blessed that I DON’T know what it means. And I mean, I don’t really have a “work week”, I’ve been banging on Planet Jenna and Cult Star all weekend. Furthermore… *Unnecessarily formal for a piece of writing that utilized DUDE BRO two paragraphs prior…* But furthermore, a lot of my “corporate responsibilities” dip their toes in the warm salty waters of summer vacation… Sunbathing, working out, spa facials… Hey, I gotta look good DOING all this Planet Jenna stuff… But this weekend, I’ve gotten FOUR Cult Star orders!! So I’m SUPER stoked over that and I’ve been busy AF making all of them. And someone wrote to me last night on Etsy and said that his package hasn’t shown any movement since they accepted it at the post office. And this was THREE WEEKS AGO!! OMG WTF. And I get so busy, I don’t typically track the packages once I see they’ve been accepted but I def need to start because where the fuck did this package go??! And it was a Camp Crystal Lake sign!! I mean, I would be upset if ANY of the stuff I make goes missing but these signs are SO intricate and A LOT goes into them and they’re so rad and detailed and I feel like a huge awesome piece of artwork is just …MISSING. And maybe no one will ever see it again and that REALLY bums me out. But I’m gonna go down to that post office tomorrow and see what the hell is going on. Maybe the label just came off or something and they still have it down there. I got the insurance so – financially – it’s no big deal but from an artistic standpoint, I REALLY wanna know where it is!! So I may be making another sign for this fellow because I told him I’m not gonna make him wait for a postal investigation and reimbursement and all of that, if it comes to that. And two of my orders from this weekend were signs so that could be THREE signs I’ll be making this week!! OMG. And I have a full page of other things on next week’s To-Do List, also! Okay, two of my orders are for Belt Chaps and those are super quick to make, so I’m gonna go do those and get them all packaged up and then I can just focus on the signs! I love you guys so much!! I hope no one is succumbing to the Sunday Scaries!! WTF if anyone actually knows that that is, let me know! XXX |
